After completing studies in France, Mr. Laurans joined the Group Securities Management Company in 1968. From 1968 to 1983 he held various management positions at Group headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and then became Director of Eurogestion France (subsidiary of Industrial and Financial European Union Bank).
Mr. Laurans moved to Canada in 1983 and founded the ALFID Group, which specialized in providing real estate services. Under his leadership ALFID Group grew rapidly and diversified into construction, security, administration, maintenance and brokerage. With real estate assets under management currently exceeding one billion dollars and more than 350 employees, ALFID Group is one of the largest property managers in the province of Quebec. Mr. Laurans also serves on numerous boards of Canadian companies specializing in real estate.

Mr. Binette is a certified accountant and began his professional career in 1976 with the Samson Bélair Deloitte & Touche accounting firm.
Mr. Binette joined ALFID Group in 1984, shortly after the company was founded, as a Real Estate Broker. Since then he has held various positions as Head of Accounting, CFO, Vice President Finance, Vice President Operations and Executive Vice President, a position that he holds today. He has played crucial role leading ALFID Group to its success today.
Besides his professional activities Mr. Binette serves on several Board of Directors of real estate companies. He is also very involved in the Montreal social life and is also director of the Foundation of the College Jean Eudes.
Gilles Binette began his career in the Alfid Group in 1986 as General Manager of the Sports Complex Arena “Le Gardeur”.
Over the years he has held the positions of Director for residential and commercial property and subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President of the operations in 2006.
During these 35 years in the business he knew through his involvement and perseverance, developing various affiliated services companies in Alfid Group.
Accounting background he has been responsible over 200 employees on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of operations in different buildings under management
Having joined the Group Alfid in 2001 Jose Melo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants.
He has over 30 years experience in accounting, both in private and institutional accounting in various sectors.
Frédéric Bossart began his career in 1994 at the SBS (Swiss Bank Corporation) in Geneva with various departments, which enabled him to acquire significant experience in several fields. In 1997, he joined a subsidiary of the group in Zurich at SBC Warburg in the Credit Risk Management department.
Since 1999, he has been offered several positions in management companies as a financial analyst, and in 2011 he took over the management of the family business (Finas Management SA, Switzerland) created by his father in 1984, partner of Jean-Jacques Laurans, current president of the Alfid group.
In August 2017, Frédéric Bossart joined the Alfid Group as Vice President Business Development.
Joël Chareyron has a triple competence such as technical, commercial and managerial skills. First graduated in home automation - building automation, he validated a higher cycle course at the EMLyon with a specialization in strategy.
After managing operations and technical maintenance teams, he created and managed for almost 10 years a facility management company working with national retail customers across France.
In 2018, he joined the Alfid Services Immobiliers Ltée as Sales and Marketing Director.
In 2020, he was entrusted with the Vice-Presidency for Strategy and Business.
In addition to these activities, he sits on various boards in the real estate industry and is involved in several organizations:
Hervé is the Technical Services Director of the Climat Contrôle division. Backed by a team of mechanics, electricians and building maintenance technicians, he works within a number of buildings under management. He graduated from Polytechnique Montréal in 1982, with a Bachelor’s in Building Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering. Today, he is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) and Réseau Énergie et Bâtiments.
After joining Alfid Group in April 2006, he formed a maintenance and building operations team. Hervé has also managed many mechanical, electrical and control projects. He is responsible for equipment development, operation, maintenance and repairs for a number of buildings.
Pascal holds a DESS in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Building Engineering. He is also a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. He began working in heavy steel structures before moving on to consulting engineering. He then pursued an international career with the Parisian firm GRAITEC, as well as implementing computerization and automation processes in steel production plants of all kinds throughout the UK and the Americas. Presented with the opportunity to join a solid team based in downtown Montréal, Pascal came to Alfid in 2018 as the Director of Construction Alfid Ltd. He was immediately entrusted with a number of important tasks, such as the construction of Alfid’s new head office and the implementation of Bill 122 for the company.
Maryse has worked in the hotel and commercial building maintenance management industry for over 20 years. She joined the Alfid team in June 2020 as Operations Director for Alfid Maintenance, and became Operations Director for Alfid Security in November 2020.
She also has training in hotel management, which led her to work as a housekeeping director in many prestigious hotels in Québec City and Montréal. Maryse is a member of the Board of the Association des entreprises spécialisées en eau du Québec.
Laurence Binette joined the Alfid Group in 2017 as a real estate advisor. She has held the positions of residential and commercial manager, while representing owners in commercial brokerage. Possessing a good understanding of client needs, Laurence was promoted to the position of Brokerage Director. His commitment and attention to detail are guarantees of trust for our customers.
Holder of a diploma in commercial and residential real estate brokerage, Laurence was able to develop in-depth expertise in brokerage. His academic background is enhanced by a diploma in interior design, which allows him to perfect his technical knowledge and stimulate his creativity.
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Laurence is involved in the activities of the Events Committee of the Alfid Group in order to contribute to the development of team cohesion.

With an experience of more than 8 years in the field of property management, Kevin Lemire has held various roles within the Alfid group, initiating his journey in 2020 as a property manager. He then progressed to the position of Operations Manager, eventually rising to the role of Director of Property Management. Today, Kevin guides a dedicated team while ensuring full oversight of property management operations.
Kevin consolidated his academic career with management studies at HEC Montreal and obtaining a Certificate in Institutional Management from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS). He also holds the title of Facility Management Professional (FMP) awarded by the International Facility Management Association.
Always driven by a quest for continuous improvement, Kevin is currently a candidate for the Executive MBA at Université Laval.
